TRS x TSOTA Studio Visits: Daniel O’Dempsey
For the next feature in the TRS X TSOTA interview series, @helaynadraws had a chat with our lovely @daniel.odempsey about his practice. They talk about his passion for collaboration and making art accessible to the wider public, his multidisciplinary project Red Lite Radio (@red.lite.radio ) and ever-developing practice.
This month, TSOTA interviewed TRS Studio Member Matthew Nightingale (@mtnightingale_art). He talks all about his darkly comedic and restrictive performance paintings, as well as the beauty in experimenting with mediums.
The State of The Arts visited artist Khaleb Brooks to talk all things residencies, the transatlantic slave trade and its link to Liverpool, archival work and upcoming exhibitions.
Support us
By donating to The Royal Standard, you will help us help artists by keeping studio rent low, providing paid opportunities for workshops, exhibitions and events, as well as career development opportunities and our programme.
Making a steady income as an artist is extremely challenging, and having a successful career as an artist without having another bread-and-butter-money job on the side is a luxury only a few can afford.
As an organisation, we want to do everything we can to change that and make being an artist in Liverpool a viable and sustainable option.
Donate to support our mission.
