One Way is an exhibition of paintings, sculptures and video works by Gary Sollars. Gary’s works are mainly autobiographical. Queer life, love, relationships, politics and humour are all explored through a variety of media including short films, large scale oil paintings and sculpture. Gary is forthright and unapologetic for his queer stance and his work pulls no punches.

Gary has previously exhibited in group shows at the Walker Art Gallery, John Moores Painting Prize, The Whitworth, Brighton Museum and Art Gallery and Berlin’s Kunstsalon. He has also been selected for the National Portrait Gallery’s BP Portrait Award multiple times.

He is the host of Dollman Disco, an irreverent “childrens’ party for adults” mixing live art performance, music and games.

This exhibition will be a mixture of new and past works.
