Colourful Stories: A Queer Retelling of Liverpool's History

Comics Youth are thrilled to announce that Colourful Stories: A Queer Retelling of Liverpool's History, has now been rescheduled, and will be opening soon, for one day only, on Thursday 31st March.

"Queer culture has been erased from the history books for centuries, leaving so many with little knowledge of their heritage and identity. The very little information available often only covers major cities like London, Manchester, and Brighton. Similarly, those depicting Liverpool's history often look to a traditional and heteronormative route, completely omissing a single thought to Liverpool's vibrant and diverse queer scene. At Colourful Stories we aim to explore the unique history and wide range of experiences that come with being a queer individual in Liverpool."

The show will be open from 12 - 5pm on THURSDAY 31st MARCH.

This will be followed by a celebration event, from 6 - 8pm, and you are invited!
