Dan O'Dempsey
Daniel O'Dempsey's practice is spontaneous and broad. Dan looks at his work as a platform to interact and facilitate conversation between himself and the viewer. Interested in sustainability, through use of found objects Dan elevates and reinstates significance in what many might consider the ordinary and everyday.
He is curious about space and explores this playfully by juxtaposing stereotypical scenes in foreign landscapes to create new narratives. Dan works in both conventional and unconventional spaces with the intention of connecting with a more diverse audience, expressing his thoughts and interests through the various forms in which his work takes. Dan tries to maintain a sense of openness and fluidity in his alchemic practice.
